Night of Failure - Burnout in Entrepreneurship
The Night of Failure on June 18, 2026, brought together entrepreneurs, executives, and interested individuals to openly discuss the challenges of entrepreneurship. The event focused on honest accounts of burnout, personal turning points, and how valuable insights can emerge from setbacks.
When honesty encourages!
At the «Night of Failure» on the topic of burnout in entrepreneurship, authentic stories, personal experiences, and open exchange took center stage. Together with numerous entrepreneurs, we experienced an evening that created space for honest conversations about stress, overwhelm, and dealing with crises.
A heartfelt thank you to our speakers – Roman Schneider (Schneider Coaching), Michele Matt (Business Park Baselland & MyCamper AG) and Prof. Dr. med. Jan Bonhoeffer (Heart-Based Center) – for their personal insights and valuable perspectives. The evening was moderated by Karin Vollenweider (IMPULSUS Workshops), who guided the discussion with great sensitivity and openness. Together, they demonstrated that setbacks and crises are part of entrepreneurship and that important learning processes can emerge precisely from them.
Our Highlights and Learnings:
- Consciously recognize and take seriously early warning signs of stress and overwhelm
- Understand how chronic stress develops and why burnout often progresses insidiously
- Talk openly about challenges and accept support in a timely manner
- Recognize and communicate your own limits, and consciously create breaks for recovery
- Engage with like-minded people and learn from each other
- See setbacks not as failures, but as opportunities for personal growth and reorientation
During the subsequent reception, conversations deepened, experiences were exchanged, and new connections were made. This led to valuable discussions about mental health, entrepreneurship, and the importance of openly addressing challenges.
We thank all participants for their openness, the engaging conversations, and the courage to address even the less visible aspects of entrepreneurship. We look forward to future events that foster honest exchange and open new perspectives.
